Dawe’s is Britain’s only surviving Victorian twineworks with its original working machinery. Saved from total collapse and now restored by local volunteers for everyone to enjoy.
We were delighted that Dawe’s was given the ‘2022 Community Engagement’ award by the Association for Industrial Archaeology
DAWE’S WELCOMES VISITORS ON THE FOURTH SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH 10am to 4pm
(and frequently at other times by appointment. Groups welcome.)
