Report Road Problems On-Line Somerset County Council now has a system whereby you can report, potholes, weeds, overgrown verges, failed lights etc.  To get directly to the reporting system, click HERE. There is also a site for Rights of Way. You can see them all on a map, click HERE

Speeding on the A30
We did have a team of people checking speeds at 4 places around the village. See HERE
Below is a summary of what the automatic checker recorded in October 2015. Results from 2016 and later are very similar.
– 1600 vehicles each day travel west into the village (1200 on Sundays)
– Only about 100 of these (6%) obey the 30mph speed limit
– About 1100 (67%) travel at 30 to 40 mph
– About 400 (25%) travel at 40 to 50 mph
– About 33 (2%) exceed 50mph.  That’s 12,000 per year
