The West Coker Commemoration Hall is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). The Charity Commission registration number is 1191241.This CIO replaces the West Coker Commemoration Fund which previously managed the village hall. The CIO has a Board of Trustees from whom Officers are elected. The Trustees manage the hall by means of a Management Team consisting of the Trustees plus nominated representatives of village organisations and elected residents of the village. Team members may also be co-opted as required for particular tasks.
The Management Team meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10 am in the Hall. Sessions commence with an opportunity for members of West Coker Parish to have their say.
The AGM was held on 9 September 2024. The reports presented at the meeting are available here. The reporting period is determined by the Charity Commission and covers the period of the financial year 2023-24.
